Dear Paul and Debbie
We would like to thank you very much for coming into our school. We thought
your costumes were fantastic. The young classes really enjoyed being read to
and loved their bookmarks. The older pupils found the talk on setting up your
own business very interesting as you explained it rather well. We found your
words encouraging and we would really like to see you again. The books you left
we are listening too in class and really enjoying them.
Yours faithfully,
Andy, Julie, Levi, Hayley, Ryan, Ashley, class 8 Athelstane School Conisbrough
Hi Paul & Debbie
I just wanted to write and say a huge thank you for your visit to our school
on Monday!! The kids loved it, we have spent the last two days writing poems
of our own, and I have even had some poems handed in as voluntary homework!!
Not to mention the bookmarks, I have never had so many children want to read,
just so that they can use their bookmarks! The children are also enthusiastic
about their artwork too, wanting to create images based on the poetry. Once
again, many thanks.

Dear Paul and Debbie,
Just finished reading your book, Pirate Wizards and Dragon’s with my
son Travis and we thought it was marvellous. The characters truly come to life
in the personalised poems and just having his name mentioned really involves
him in the short lyrical stories. My daughter Montana also loves her book of
magic. Once again, seeing her own name in print and interacting with the assorted
illustrated characters from Fairies to friendly Dragons is what makes your books
so special. Also liked the way the books promote family values and good citizenship
and the rewards such ideals as kindness, generosity and friendship have to offer.
Looking forward to more of your books coming out and thanks for the free bookmarks
too.

Thank you for the lovely book and bookmark for my daughter. As I am a busy
with running my own business, time is very important and time with my children
especially so. Having your book to sit and share with Francesca and escape together
through rhyming verse to another world is a delight. As the book is personalised,
the shared reading experience is doubly enjoyable and I think the qualities
your imaginatively illustrated characters aspire to is one of the things Francesca
admires most. Without doubt, the fact that she too is part of their world is
also a great attraction. I look forward to more of your work coming into print,
as does Francesca. Thank you.
Mrs Tracy Walker.
Dear Mr and Mrs Chafer,
Thank you for the bookmark for my granddaughter and the wonderful book of magic.
She is thrilled to see her own name and enchanted by the little stories. Jessica
is a big fan of fairies and fantasy, as are most children of her age. What seems
special about your book is the personalisation that truly brings her into the
poems. She is now encouraged to write her own poems and produce her own pictures
inspired by the pictures in the book and is looking forward to your next books.
Best wishes,
Mrs Glew
Debbie and Paul.
Good luck with the launch of your new 'Children’s Poetry Books'. It has
been a privilege to work with you in the past and to see you now building on
your previous successes. Your ability to enter into the children's world and
to include them in the adventures that your characters are involved in is truly
fascinating. I have read the poems to our young grandson who wanted to act them
out, a true test of the influence that they exert. Also a love of poetry is
possibly begun at an early age with exciting words and wonderful illustrations;
congratulations on the part that you have played Debbie. There is an opportunity
here for parents and friends to take advantage and obtain a truly worthwhile
gift for their youngsters. I will watch the progress of this enterprise with
eagerness and wish you a very well deserved success.

My class of Reception children were engaged at once by the imaginative nature
of the books. The children thoroughly enjoyed the lively presentation and were
very enthusiastic about joining in with some poems! The aims of promoting kindness,
honesty and friendship through literature are entirely in keeping with school
aims and are useful to develop learning across the curriculum.
The best of luck with your venture.
